A web app for business
Design the user flow, build the features, then release it to a URL other people can open.
Data, ordering, and an admin area
Add a database, an API, user management, item ordering, booking, and an admin area to the app.
Release and maintain an app that is ready to use
Test the main flows, clean up errors, keep access secure, then release and update the app after it is live.
Every week, your app gets closer to ready.
Every Saturday there is an onsite class for review, discussion, and preparing the next week's material. On weekdays you study independently and prepare for the following Saturday's session.
Setting up your tools
Set up the terminal, Node.js, Claude Code, Git, and GitHub. You go home with a repository up and running, ready to build on.
Taking a page from local to live
Build the front-end and release an early version to a live URL.
Adding data and operational flows
Add a database, an API, and an admin area to manage the data inside the app.
Preparing the app for release and testing
Finalise deployment, check access and data, handle basic errors, then get the app ready to demo and use.
